My name is Matt Lager and I’ve worked with systems and software for roughly 15 years. My home is a company called Rock-Pond Solutions. We specialize in providing data and software related services to Home Infusion, Specialty Pharmacy, and HME companies all over the nation. Everything I do with technology is to help make Rock-Pond stronger and give our customers the best products possible. Rock-Pond is unique in that we create products that are Windows based, but are completely powered by open source operating systems and software on the back end. Seeing FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, Linux, and other open source operating systems and software provide a stable and secure back end for our Microsoft products is something I’ll never stop getting excited about.
I’ve long felt the desire to share my technology experiences with other people. Often I run into situations where all I can find is fragmented or outdated documentation. This blog is my attempt to not only document my experiences for my own benefit, but hopefully yours as well.
I write my articles based on how I understand and implement the technology, and welcome input and experiences from other people.
